So I actually got into OSX. For some reason I have to start with the JaS iso in the drive, hit F8 when prompted and then type "rd=disk0s1 -v" at the Darwin comand line. I have no idea why, but without the disc in it doesn't work.

Now I'm trying to get my ATI 800XL to display in a res higher than 1024x768 but I have no idea how I edit boot options like you did.

Just thought I'd write back here for anyone that cares.

This blog is rad. Thanks for the OSX related stuff. I'm trying it now on my other machine. I need final cut but can't afford a G5 or Apple Pro.

Anyway, I've got an nForce4 with SATA, have you heard if it's possible to get OSX working on this or am I doomed to fail?

Thanks again for the site.

well, im using version 3.0.0 and its crashing a lot. i can't see any further updates on your website right now. maybe opening it with rosetta might help. so far i've been pressing the "save" button after every sentence, so i won't have to write it all again after a crash.

There’s a new version of Qumana available that should work with your 10.4.8,

We finally solved the issue about three weeks ago. If you want to try the new version, it’s available at the Qumana.com site.
